Do you just see families and children for family problems?
We see families, children, individual adults, and couples. We see these folks for just about anything you can think of; grief, loss, substance abuse, health problems, relationship issues, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and behavior problems. The list goes on and obviously, we cannot be all things to all people. We will, if it is appropriate and needed, refer people to another provider who would have a higher degree of expertise.
Do you accept my insurance?
The best way to determine if we accept your insurance is for you to call your insurance provider and ask them. We will work with your insurance provider to ensure their and our standards are addressed in order to provide you with the best quality of service available.
How soon can I be seen?
We are open until 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday in order to accommodate consumer’s schedules. However, evening hours are in great demand. We also assign people on a case-by-case basis in order to ensure that the therapist you will be assigned has the highest level of expertise to help address your specific issues.
In short, many people can be seen within a few days, while others take awhile longer. We do prioritize cases so that individuals who have the greatest needs are given a level of priority to ensure their safety.
How much does it cost to get counseling?
Co-pays are based on family size and income. Anything less than full fee is subsidized through grants and United Way allocations.
